What would you do if scientists announced that a giant asteroid would strike in 1 year?

I wouldn't believe it. If I saw adequate proof, I'd probably make plans to find a way for survival, such as studying the weak points of where the asteroid would strike, and building an underground shelter, gathering people. If not, hell, get a rocket and go off into space, with a lot of gas for the tank. LOL. I'd figure out a way to survive. No asteroid is going to take me down!
