Haircolor -violet? Brown?

my frnd bot me 'loreal excelnz haircolour'-burgundy brown. I wntd smthng thts deep violet..she chckd d picture on the box..bot it coz it looks deep violet. Now the thng is,evn i thot so too but when i checkd onlne,it looks more lke dark brown. Hs anybdy usd it? Wot is the actual colour? My natural hair colour is dark brown.
