Is it true arsenal were better than man u againts leeds cos leeds 1 man u 0 and arsenal 1 leeds 1?

When you consider ManU played with mostly 3rd and 4th string players while Arsenal had 2 starters and 2nd teamers in, then later brought on 3 of their biggest stars. Yes you can say Arsenal was better against Leeds. But comparing the team Arsenal fielded to the one ManU did is like comparing a Lexus to a Kia. They are both cars, but totally different quality.
