Friend's Issue Became Mine?

I've had and complained about this problem before for a long time. Apparently, there's an unwritten law against dating around when you're "not looking" unless you plan to sleep around. Apparently, there's an unwritten law against dating around when you're not looking when you have a kid. Maybe your friend has clearly stated that she wants to be single so she'll be free from obligation to get physical and free from committment - maybe she just wants friends she can cuddle with and freedom to flirt. Is that really so wrong? Or is society just too ed up? I'm betting it's the second one.
